Falloa-badgeor anyone out there still playing, and therefore draining their phone batteries, on Pokémon Go, this week brings to you a badge that looks like a Beedrill on steroids.

Alloa Athletic F.C., known as ‘The Wasps’, come from the town of Alloa in Clackmannanshire, Scotland, where they compete in Scottish League One. Formed in 1878, the club came to be known as Alloa Athletic five years later, playing in black and gold hooped shirts which further emphasise the club’s wasp connection.

The badge we see here was first adopted in 2010; before then the club had used a more conservative wasp as its crest. I guess the wasp had been hitting the gym hard that summer.
