Just half an hour or so down the road from last months badge at Banbury United (which incidentally looks more and more to me like an evil lego man), today we are looking at Oxford United.

The dominant feature of Oxford United’s badge is an ox. Its design came from anthropologist and club director Desmond Morris in 1979, who based the iconic ox-head symbol on a Minoan-style bull’s head. First formed in 1893 as Headington United, the club currently sits fourth in the EFL League One.
