Known as Brøndbyernes Idrætsforening, or Brøndby IF and BIF for short, the Danish side were founded in 1964 as a merger between two local Brøndby clubs. Despite going through troubled times in recent years, the side has seen the likes of Michael Laudrup, Peter Schmeichel, John Jensen, Dennis Rommedahl and Daniel Agger pass through the ranks in the last few decades.
The Copenhagen-based side have lifted ten league titles since their formation, which is demonstrated by two stars on their badge, one for every five league titles.
As for the yellow well that acts as the centrepiece for the badge? Well, Brondby literally means Well City. So that makes sense.
