The badge of Málaga CF serves a dual purpose – reminding viewers not only of the football team, but also of the stunning Spanish city of Málaga itself.

The blue-and-white stripes at the bottom right reflect the club’s home kit colours. The upper left meanwhile displays the beautiful Gibralfaro Castle, which visitors can find on the bay of the city of Málaga.

It may seem logical that the ‘TM’ on the top of the badge stands for ‘Trademark’. However it is actually a reference to the ‘Tanto Monta‘ motto used by Ferdinand the Catholic; a motto he granted Málaga after his reconquest.
