It’s Easter Monday, the final day in what is arguably the best weekend of the year… In that it is a whole four days long and it involves a lot of chocolate. In honour of this we have here an Easter-themed badge, although it may be one of the stranger looking Easter bunnies you will see…

Bangkok Glass F.C. was founded in 2006, beginning life in the fourth division of the Thai League. However their ambitions were far greater than this, and in 2009 they bought the Krung Thai Bank FC franchise in order to compete in the top tier Thai Premier League. Notable highlights in the club’s brief history came in 2010 with victories at the Queen’s Cup and the Singapore Cup, and in 2014 when they won the Thai FA Cup.

The club are known as the ‘Glass Rabbits‘ because they are run and operated by Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited. Despite their official name, the club actually play their home games in the Pathum Thani Province which is just north of Bangkok. But the club nickname has proven highly popular, leading to many fans wearing rabbit ears at matches. The intimidating rabbit on the badge may be eye-catching to opponents, but would you ever want to get your Easter eggs from something that looks like an evil Bugs Bunny?

From everyone at Box To Box Football, I hope that you are all having a fantastic Easter Bank Holiday weekend!
